Relatives of the late Matthew and John Dawson still here – you might like to look on Cowlingweb for Effie Dawson’s photos. Would like to know more about John Gawthrop pls., which church/chapel was he connected with? Thanks, Joan Tindale (Cowling Binns family)

Hi Mike
We may be related thru the Dawson side
My grandmother was a Dawson
Her father was James Dawson b.2 Mar 1857-d.6 Feb 1931 from Warwickshire England
He immigrated to Canada in 1875 at age 18
He married Lydia Ann Cole in 1875
He returned to Liverpool Eng in 28 Oct 1893 at age 36 on the Etruria ship -I believe he may have been visiting with family
That family I am trying to trace right now
Can you assist me
Thanking you in advance
Regards,
Barbara
